Us

My 2 little heros haha! Love the spirit in my 2 sons :)
Slowly losing the weight and gaining length in the hair again.

Life has had a lot of unpredictable and sideways moments for us lately. I'm starting to waver in my faith of something good on the horizon and am clinging like mad to the hope He hears us.  I am thankful for every second with my 2 little men, my heart is still struggling to heal and I am struggling to stay positive amidst all the negative.
I love our little team .
I'm in search for something. What, I don't know. But I do know that I'd be stumbling down this road willingly over and over again, if it meant being a Mother to my sons. So thankyou God , for my blessings, and please, help me to know you hear me.

My guys are growing so fast, as I blink!!! I'm so thankful I luck out in capturing so many moments ... in the busy hustle and bustle of each day it's comforting to know I can look back and see snapshots of our days.....this is one of my most recent favorites.
Boys being boys, being brothers, loving, laughing, living!

September

Both my boys make me so proud.
This year both Chace and Cole are in school all day. I really don't know what to do with myself.
Chace went into a grade 1 and 2 class, and mainly does grade 2 work, which boggles my mind.

Cole started kindergarten, and after being evaluated, is one of only 4 kindergarteners in a grade 1 class. Yay boys!!
Cole super excited to get to his first day of kindergarten :)

random weather - one half of the sky was summer....the other half was a storm watch :)
 After-school snack with friends :)
dinner ... Chace has been showing a lot of interest in baking and cooking, this was a creation all his own.
All-day kindergarten makes for a tired 5 year old :)
the first week of school has been an adjustment period, and us 3stooges are learning a new rhythm to our routines....I can't wait to go on more field trips and volunteer more time in the classrooms!

5 Miracle Years

Cole Robert, at 9:21pm on August 20, 2007 you came into this world. You were blue, and didn't take your first breath until 4 minutes later. I remember holding my breath and clinging to my Daddy's hand, praying God would not take you from us.
The split second I heard you, my heart starting beating again.  Your Grandpa was there to cut your cord, and the first person you laid eyes upon.  You are a living, breathing miracle my darling Miracle MiniMan.

I named you Cole Robert, after my best friend, my Daddy. Robert is my Daddy's first name, your Grandpa.  I knew from the moment he brought you over to me that we were on a special journey together, mostly with me being a spectator to the beautiful bond your Grandpa and you shared. You are so much like him it takes my breath away. You have his twinkling blue eyes, his nose, and his quirky outlook on life. You are strong, empathetic, resilient, kind, intelligent, silly, loving, thoughtful, and so many other wonderful qualities I thank God everyday for.

I love you. Fiercely. I am proud of you. Each and every single moment of every day, you amaze me at your strength and determination to overcome obstacles and live life to the fullest.  Cole Robert you complete our 3Stooges family.  Chace and Mommy wouldn't know near as much happiness joy and laughter without you, nor would we have any clue about dinosaurs and sharks !

Happy Birthday my Miracle MiniMan. I love you, to the stars and back, miles and miles forever. XOXOXOXOXO

AirShow

This year we were yet again lucky enough to catch most of the airshow from our own home...although I epically failed to get a lot of pictures.  If only our camera was as fast as those fancy jets ...

We set up our camping chairs, snacks, and enjoyed the show in our carport.  It is great experiencing life through the excitement of little people ... amazing how a cut up watermelon and loud jets can make a whole weekend....
