Chace finally lost his tooth!! The best part is Lil Bro can take all the credit!  the boys were wrestling and Cole's sock got stuck on wiggly tooth.  Chace had a moment of panic until he found the tooth, and there were high fives all the way around :)   Aaahh my 1st born is growing up, so fast.

It is amazing to me how my darling dog, who easily outweighs (and out muscles) our little kitten, will allow herself to be bossed around.  Zooper has taken to lounging wherever Cassy already is, and more times than not, this is h ow I find my girls when I get home.   Cat snoozing, Dog pouting.

Who's Who?

Old pics I found of my boys. AWWWW

1 ON 1

Cole and I are getting to spend more frequent time together, just the 2 of us, and we're really liking the uninterrupted bonding.  Yesterday we took off for the day and decided to stop in at Maan Farms for an adventure.  Cole cracks me up - he has inherited my goofiness, and I'm pretty sure that people around us think we're absolutely nuts...laughing hysterically over inside jokes, and being silly.  Life is always that much sweeter when you're laughing. It was a nice day, just my Miracle Boy and I, and I can't wait to see what our next adventure has in store for us !

Power Lunching, Power Walking

this week Chace has been going to the afternoon gradual kindergarten entry, so i can still work in the morning and be able to take him to his class. We have what he has called "power brain snack" ahead of time, then head out with an apple to share on our walk.  This is probably the best part of the day for me, that short 15 minutes when it seems the 2 of us are in our own little world and the rest of the world around us slows down.  I really really LOVE my kids, but I'm super excited and lucky to be able to say that I truly LIKE my kids. They are such awesome little people, and I am proud to be the centre of their world.
What will I do all day while they are off at school???   Oh right. Chores.

Happy-Ness :)

A lot has gone on in the past few weeks and a lot has been laughed and cried about.  More smiles than tears, I'm happy to report and our little team is happily marching towards new horizons, new opportunities, and new memories.
The boys and I made some stepping stones, one of them  with all of our hand prints, including the animals' paw prints.  We had some giggles over this process, and trying to chase a kitten and dog who is frightened of the hose afterwards was worthy of some home videos. Too bad our hands were covered in clay too.
"my girls" are finally starting to bond. Or at least tolerate eachother.  Cassy doesn't react when the kitty attacks her tail or ears, or hogs her bed, and Zooper has stopped hissing and hiding from the dog. All in all I think progress is being made :)
Chace and I went to his parent/teacher meeting and he was thrilled with the undivided attention from the teacher, and the chance to show off his reading/writing, etc. Especially without his little brother to distract from all his self-proclaimed talents .  I sure am proud of my eldest boy. He was very disappointed when we had to leave and is super stoked to go without me tomorrow:)
