So my neighbor came home last night with a brand new kitten, who is still nameless, but no longer homeless...........

I am such a sucker for babies.....*sigh*

Prince Day

Chace and Mommy went on a date and we sure kept busy!

Chace chose to go bowling first and we had a lot of fun pretending we were professionals!!! Good thing there were only 2 other lanes being used!

We headed off to RedRobin for lunch and Chace asked the waitress for an extra balloon, to take home for his little brother, so cute! The little piggy ate all the popcorn shrimp too by the way - and was quite proud of the fact that he only let Mommy have 1!!! The nerve!

After lunch we headed down to the trout hatchery for a tour and Chace was already birthday party planning - seems they host fishing parties for kids, and Chace informed them all that next year he'll be there hahah!

We finished off our day at the go-karts, at CastleFunPark, and played some games. A fun, busy day .

I think I look forward to these one-on-one dates more than the boys do - I thoroughly enjoy getting to spend time with them and knowing them on an undivided attention level. Chace is 5 going on 10 some days and I can just see how far he's going to go in this life.

3stooges adventures!

I took a week off work and in that week the 3 of us had a lot of fun, maybe got into some trouble too?? we'll never tell........

we celebrated Chace's birthday with a party at the rec centre...totally cool, and lots of fun!! an awesome Magic School Bus cake made the whole thing!!

On Chace's actual birthday (june 19th) Cole and I suprised him with lunch at the Vancouver Airport. He loves planes and was super stoked to be eating lunch and watching all the planes land and take off, right in front of us. How could this day get any better??!!

The pilot of a cool float plane approached our table and handed the birthday boy and his brother boarding passes. Chace was excited to see and talk to a real pilot and didn't understand what was really going on.....was wonderful moment to watch him light up and then start to cry happy tears when he was told he was going on a real plane ride to the Sunshine Coast. AWWWW

The 3 of us boarded a little 5 seater float plane and took off for the coast. The view was beautiful and after his initial nervousness Chace enjoyed pointing out everything and seeing other planes...Cole was chill through the whole thing HAHAHA...he cracks me up that little guy.

We spent 2 days on the coast, our fave place, and then boarded the plane to fly back home. AWESOME TRIP.. ...

Happy 5th Handsome!!

June 19th 2006 my world was changed forever. I discovered real, true love. Chace William, you came into this world a sturdy 11lbs 40z and absolutely lit up my life.

5years have gone by and not one day has managed to slip by without you making me laugh, and my heart smile. I love you my Handsome Prince, and thank God every day for your beautiful soul and the most AWESOME gift of being your Mommy.

Us 3 Stooges made a daytrip to Squamish to meet Thomas the Train!!! I am most impressed that I managed to keep it a secret the whole week, and the whole ride up there....needless to say Chace was mighty frustrated and not liking being in on our plans :)

I am very grateful to our neighbors who blessed us with the tickets ... Cole was in his glory at the train yard and the mile-wide smiles all day are a treasure this Mommy will carry with her forever.
