We went to the aquarium today. SO much fun, especially since the boys didnt know what we were up to until Chace saw the sign for the aquarium. Very proud that he read it (happy Mommy dance). So we spent the day in STanley Park...we explored the aquarium, enjoyed a picnic in the park and even rode our bikes around the seawall. An AWESOME day. I sure love being in kid company!!
"Mommy, I'm going to kindergarten soon and I think I need my own space. I'll help you vaccuum." ~Chace CHace informed me that he is now a big boy who has outgrown the thrill of sharing a room with his younger brother (at least for now). So we have spent a few days seperating the bunk beds (NOT easy nor fun!!) and making sure each boy is happy with their own space. It was fun having the boys communicate to me how they saw their rooms looking, and even better to see the delight on their faces when they saw the final result. Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner last night and without knowing who's room what whose, as they walked into each bedroom Grandma said "wow this sure is Chace's/Cole's space". Both boys beamed with pride. Definitely worth all the late nights :)
Ahhhh so there are less than 2 weeks until my 20's are officially over. What a fun decade it;s been though. THe most important, life altering moments happened during my 20's. I am looking forward to getting to truly know myself and feel content with me, in my 30's. Chace: "Mommy you're not old. How can you be old when you crawl around with us and are always doing stuff? Nope you can't be old. Just pretty." *sigh*
